What We Do

Three ways
to work with
Shidaki.

詩達基

We build new companies from scratch, develop ideas brought to us by founders, and explore B2B partnerships where genuine synergy exists. The same rigorous process applies to all three.

01

Internal
Incubation

We build companies ourselves — from the first idea to the incorporated business.

At the heart of Shidaki is an internal incubation pipeline. We generate business ideas through structured brainstorming and opportunity research, then apply a rigorous four-stage process before any company is formed.

The pipeline is designed to surface the best ideas quickly and discard weak ones early — before significant resources are committed. Only concepts that pass each stage gate proceed to the next. Those that demonstrate genuine market traction are incorporated as independent limited companies, each built on a sound operational and structural foundation.

01
IdeationStructured brainstorming, trend analysis, and opportunity identification across sectors.
02
Research & FeasibilityMarket sizing, competitor mapping, economic modelling, and risk assessment.
03
Testing (Shidaki Labs)Prototype, MVP, or market test with real customers. Active concepts live in Shidaki Labs during this phase.
04
DeploymentValidated concepts are incorporated as independent limited companies, ready to operate.
02

Founder
Support

We work with external founders who have ideas or early ventures that need proper development.

Talk to Us →

Not every good idea comes from inside the studio. Shidaki works with a select number of external founders who have identified a genuine opportunity and want experienced, hands-on support to develop it properly.

This is not mentoring or advisory. We engage operationally — helping to research the market, stress-test the business model, structure the concept, and work through the development process alongside you. We bring the same analytical rigour to external founder work that we apply to our own ventures.

If you have an idea at any stage — from raw concept to early traction — and you want a partner who will actually get involved rather than just offer opinions, we'd like to hear from you.

  • Business idea research and feasibility assessment
  • Business model development and stress-testing
  • Concept testing and early customer validation
  • Operational structure and company formation guidance
  • Strategic planning for early-stage growth

Suited to founders who…

Have an idea they believe in but want rigorous external input before committing fully. Are at an early stage and want a structured development process. Are open to genuine collaboration and not just looking for validation.

03

B2B
Partnerships

We explore structured partnerships where a business and one of our ventures can create something greater together.

Start a Discussion →

Some of the most interesting business opportunities arise not from a single organisation, but from two companies combining what they do well. Shidaki is open to B2B partnership conversations where genuine synergy exists between an external business and one of our active or pipeline ventures.

This might mean a company with an established customer base that aligns with a product we're developing. A business with complementary capabilities that would significantly strengthen a venture's value proposition. Or an organisation that has identified a market gap that one of our concepts is designed to address.

If you see a real connection between what your business does and what we're building, we're willing to have that conversation — structured around what a genuine combined value proposition could look like for both parties.

  • Synergy identification and opportunity scoping
  • Joint value proposition development
  • Commercial and structural partnership design
  • Pilot programme and proof-of-concept collaboration
  • Formalised long-term partnership agreements

Suited to businesses that…

Have identified a potential overlap with one of our ventures and want to explore it seriously. Are looking for a structured partnership rather than an informal arrangement. Can articulate what they bring to a combined proposition and what they're looking to achieve.

Next Steps

Not sure which
path is right for you?

Tell us a little about your situation and we'll work out together whether and how Shidaki can add value. There's no commitment in an initial conversation.
