About Us

A studio built
to make
things happen.

詩達基

Shidaki Venture Studio exists to turn good ideas into operating businesses — whether those ideas originate with us, with you, or emerge from a partnership between two complementary organisations.

Our Story

What Shidaki
actually is.

Shidaki Venture Studio is a business creation engine. At its core, we run an internal incubation pipeline: we brainstorm business ideas, research and test them, and incorporate the ones that demonstrate real market potential as independent limited companies.

But we don't work in isolation. We also engage with external founders who have ideas worth developing — people who have identified a genuine opportunity but want experienced support to research, test, and build it properly.

And we're open to the possibility that the most interesting opportunities sometimes arise not from a single idea, but from combining what two organisations do well. Where we see genuine synergy between our active ventures and another business, we explore what a formal partnership could create.

Three Ways to Engage
01 — Build

Internal Incubation

We originate, test, and deploy new companies ourselves through a structured four-stage pipeline — from initial idea through to incorporated business.

02 — Back

Founder Support

We work with external founders who have ideas or early ventures, providing hands-on strategic and operational development support.

03 — Partner

B2B Partnerships

Where a business sees synergy with one of our ventures, we explore structured partnerships to create combined value for both parties.

How We Think

The principles
we build by.

01 — Principle

Evidence Before Capital

No company is formed and no partnership formalised until the underlying idea has been tested. Low-cost experiments de-risk decisions before significant commitment is made.

02 — Principle

Involvement, Not Advice

We don't sit at arm's length and offer opinions. When we work with a founder or a partner, we get properly involved — bringing real operational input alongside strategic thinking.

03 — Principle

Mutual Value in Partnerships

B2B partnerships only work when both sides benefit clearly. We approach every partnership conversation with that standard: if the combined value proposition isn't genuinely stronger, it's not worth structuring.

04 — Principle

Long-Term Orientation

We build companies and relationships to last. Our decisions are made with a multi-year horizon — which means we're selective about what we take on, and committed when we do.

Our Approach

Rigour at
every stage.

Vision.
Courage.
Success.

The three qualities that define every venture we build, back, or partner.

Whatever the source of an idea — internal brainstorm, founder conversation, or partnership discussion — it goes through the same structured process at Shidaki. We don't have one standard for our own ventures and a lower bar for everything else.

That consistency is what makes the studio model work. It means founders who engage with us can expect the same depth of research and testing that we apply to our own concepts. And it means businesses considering a partnership can trust that we've done the analytical work before the conversation starts.

The result is a pipeline of ventures and relationships built on substance, not optimism.
